SNOW!

The weather really can't make its mind up today. On the way in this morning there was wind, sun and snow and now this is what its like as we head to dinner. Ridiculous! Steak an kidney pudding was te bomb though. Even if I did get the woman who's stingy with the chip scoop. They're just chips!

It's just what I do.

Adding Universal buttons to the Gnome panel

Wiibuntu: Getting Started

If you've not looked into them before, wiimotes are a pretty nifty bit of kit. There basically a bluetooth mouse and are recognised by computers as Human Interface Devices (HID). But they do more than a mouse can, there is a InfraRed (IR) CCD camera, accelerometers and of course, a few buttons.

This Be The Verse

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.
- Philip Larkin
